Bot’s principles

Bot's functions

BeSPlantnet

#BeSPlantnet - the robot answers to some posts that embeds a flower image !

At certain times of the day, the robot searches for images of flowers/plants. Then it tries to identify the plant, and if successful, it answers the author of the post with an example image.

Example

Pl@ntNet identifie (à 80.29%) Couroupita guianensis (fam Lecythidaceae) com. Arbre à boulet de canon, Calabasse Colin, Abricot-macaque #BeSPlantnet #IndentificationDePlantes

BeSAskPlantnet

#BeSAskPlantnet - the robot answers to certain mentions to identify plant/flower!

It is possible to ask the robot to identify a flower/plant. To do this, answer a post containing an image of a flower/plant with the mention @botensky.bsky.social.
Then you must wait for the robot to wake up for the AskPlantnet plugin (see FAQ)

Example

Pl@ntNet identifie (à 27.70%) Myosotis decumbens (fam Boraginaceae) com. Myosotis retombant, Myosotis étalé #BeSAskPlantnet #IndentificationDePlantes

BeSBioClip

#BeSBioClip - the robot answers to some posts that embeds a bird image !

At certain times of the day, the robot searches for bird images. Then it tries to classify the species, and if successful, answers the author of the post with a link to a photo gallery (Avibase).

Example

Another great antbird of Amazonas is the White-browed Antbird. These are not common birds, but are very cooperative photo subjects. #birds
